This is pretty interesting...very nice b&w version...I am noticing all the lines as well and I think the processing emphesizes that....also some beautiful shimmer. Is an art project from one of your classes?
I am seeing a Geisha...something with a Oriental flare?

This is a sculpture piece I am working on for an exhibit. This is a close up shot so that you can not see the entire piece, it is unfinished.
I create boxes with paper sculpture pieces that I paint or draw on canvas or paper and then scan into my computer. Then I make sculptural forms.
This particular piece is called Dance of Mt. Fugi.
I am always doing origami. I teach my class how to do origami for many reasons. Math is one reason. They discover, for themselves, so many important concepts in folding, precision, and repetition. Play is the launching site and practice for all of the wonders in the world.
I love being their playmate.
My father was in the Navy during WWII and after the bombing of Hiroshima he was deposited there for the aftermath clean-up. The stories he told are forever stuck in my heart. I love the beauty and simplicity of Japanese art. I pay tribute.
