Years ago, I would frequent a bookstore for children with my daughter. We enjoyed our visits to this bookstore because it was magical, I can't even remember the name of this store, It was near where we lived in the Park Cities surrounded by Dallas. One day I discovered The Green Tiger Press when I saw the illustrations done by Cooper Edens. Talk about inspiration, OMG, this set my heart on fire.
I began collecting all of the Green Tiger Press Books. I flew to San Diego to visit their plant and the retail store where I bought everything I could. I still have these books, well most of them. I gave many to my daughter for her children to read and keep.
Richard Kehl produced books full of amazing art and many quotations from his own personal readings, I have many of his beautiful books, as well. Richard Kehl and Cooper Edens bounce off of each other along with the other owners of the press. They had/have a collection of children's books that would amaze anyone. Unfortunately, the Press closed. Google These wonderful artists. You will find some amazing things.
