Super Bowl Day

What do you do on a day like today?

Shopping yesterday with my sweet little mom
taking her to her favorite place
Batiks, Etc.
Where she buys her supplies to make her
fabric baskets

makes me think about spending time wisely.

You never know how much time you may have

with the people in your life.

Or, the quality of the time you may have

to celebrate just living.

So, what do you do on super bowl Sunday?

Do you sew with the new fabric you bought yesterday?

Or do you dye fabric with Kool aid?

Do you start a new thread painting?

Do you work on your Georgia Bag?

Do you sew some running stitches on the beaded piece?

Or do you take your Mom with you and your honey
to go to the bookstore which is 75 miles away
and have some Yummy Coffee
Then go out to eat at the new Mexican restaurant
where she can eat her favorite Chile Relleno?
Then come home and watch the Super Bowl Game?

Dear Bobbie,
I love love love your basket!
I would like to paint fabric with Kool aid,
but they don't sell it here.

HAPPY SUNDAY! xo

I will do anything other than watch sports. They are bad enough in person but on the tube. Blech.

I will:
1. Open the windows- it is 38 degrees already at only 10AM.
2. Do some beadwork.
3. Houseclean
4. Start packing for vacation!

Or--You could watch the PUPPY BOWL on Animal Planet while you work on a project!

Tough choices...I think bookstore and coffe.
I am so inspired to make a beautiful bowl like that Bobbie.
Please tell your mom how much I admire them.
